26. The Ambulatory Pediatric Association - Special Projects Program

The Ambulatory Pediatric Association (APA) Special Projects Program provides financial support to teaching, research, and health care delivery projects in general pediatrics. Up to $10,000 will be funded for research that encourages, promotes, and facilitates improved patient care, teaching, and research in general pediatrics, all goals of the APA.

The principal investigator must be a member of the APA or have submitted an application for membership. Preference will be given to new investigators, including those in training.

The awards will be onetime grants and multiple year funding requests will not be considered. Preference will be given to those proposals that have the potential of leading to projects of a larger or longer term nature.

Initial proposals are due at the APA on or before JANUARY 14, 2000. Final applications will be invited and will be due at the APA on or before MARCH 17, 2000.
